This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop complex enterprise electrical engineering scenarios that encompass intricate circuit and systems design cycles, collaborative multi-stakeholder design reviews, and processes for manufacturing or regulatory certification.
• Create tasks related to power systems and grid infrastructure, semiconductor and PCB design, embedded systems and firmware, signal processing, and control systems engineering.
• Formulate scenarios utilizing Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE simulation platforms, and enterprise PLM/EDA systems.
• Implement circuit analysis and simulation, ensure compliance with EMC/EMI standards, apply control theory, and perform reliability and failure mode analysis according to US or International standards.
• Generate reference design specifications, conduct engineering analyses, and prepare high-level technical narratives for executive audiences.
• Create rubrics that differentiate between genuine enterprise electrical engineering judgment and basic textbook or coursework-level recall.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer or engineering lead in a Fortune 500 company or a prominent technology, industrial, or energy firm.
• Direct responsibility for large-scale circuit designs, power systems, or engineering certification initiatives.
• Proficient in enterprise electrical engineering tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory certification, including NEC / NFPA 70, IEEE, UL, FCC, and IEC.
• Familiarity with cross-functional design governance.
• Experience with Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE simulation platforms, and enterprise PLM/EDA systems.
• Possession of a professional engineering credential such as US PE, CEng, or EUR ING is advantageous.
• Previous authorship of rubrics, engineering training curricula, or design documentation is a plus.
• Must be able to operate as an independent contractor.
• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
