This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of the complete life cycle commissioning for essential facilities.
• Perform on-site inspections, validation, functional testing, troubleshooting, and provide direction to vendors and contractors.
• Engage in factory witness testing and startup activities utilizing appropriate technical equipment.
• Manage project timelines, identify potential risks, and aid in the development of mitigation strategies.
• Support team onboarding, mobilization, and provide updates on project status.
• Oversee pre-construction activities, which include project initiation, kickoff meetings, RFIs, submittals, and forecasting of resources/materials.
• Develop and manage project schedules; lead project meetings and coordinate staffing requirements.
• Execute or supervise QA/QC, pre-functional and functional testing, startup, cutover, and project completion.
• Onboard project teams, prepare progress reports, and lead the creation of final commissioning reports for clients.
• Develop commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance test scripts.
• Review design documents, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and sequences of operation.
• Contribute to commissioning-focused design evaluations.
• Facilitate project communication and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage personal work hours utilizing company tools.
• Complete assigned tasks and deliverables punctually and within budget.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and client teams to test, validate, and operate electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control system principles.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Outstanding organizational skills for efficient file management.
• Capability to complete assignments accurately with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows and optimize operational processes.
• Proven ability to succeed in both remote and field environments.
• Strong communication, organizational capabilities, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to work in a workspace free from distractions.
• Adherence to company and site safety protocols.
• Competence in analyzing and preparing technical documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Proficient in effectively conveying technical and non-technical information both orally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients and act as a primary point of contact.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Skills in planning and delegating tasks to others.
• Ability to obtain NFPA70E and/or OSHA certification as required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Must reside near a major airport.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 75%, potentially to any or all 50 U.S. states.
• Must be able to rent vehicles and possess a valid driver’s license.
• A valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, is required for domestic air travel related to the position effective May 7, 2025.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including climbing stairs/ladders, accessing tight or confined spaces, and occasionally moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
