This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, deploy, and oversee cloud-based cyber ranges and training environments.
β’ Create and implement scalable, realistic training infrastructures that replicate enterprise environments across various cloud platforms.
β’ Develop, manage, and sustain both local and cloud-based cyber range architectures that support simultaneous training scenarios and user sessions.
β’ Build Infrastructure as Code automation frameworks for swift deployment, teardown, and resetting of range environments.
β’ Generate emulated cloud services and resources when direct integration with the cloud is impractical or cost-prohibitive.
β’ Uphold security measures and network isolation to thwart range breaches or resource misuse.
β’ Offer guidance and documentation on SimSpace software for a variety of use cases.
β’ Create and maintain documentation for range architectures, deployment processes, and troubleshooting manuals.
β’ Collaborate with security researchers and training experts to facilitate high-fidelity security simulations and exercises.
β’ Ensure ranges deliver authentic cloud experiences with isolation, monitoring capabilities, and resource efficiency.
β’ Occasional travel to customer or partner locations, estimated at 10%, may be necessary in the future.
β’ Proficiency in networking, encompassing virtual networking architecture, segmentation, subnets, and routing.
β’ Understanding of network security and access control, such as firewalls, security groups, and NACLs.
β’ Knowledge of secure connectivity solutions, including VPNs and direct connectivity options.
β’ A network engineering certification is advantageous.
β’ Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools; familiarity with Puppet and Ansible is a plus.
β’ Experience in deploying Docker and virtual machines.
β’ Background in cloud technologies and cloud-based solutions.
β’ Familiarity with VMware and NSX-T is beneficial.
β’ Acquaintance with enterprise IT architectures and standard business applications.
β’ Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for debugging complex infrastructure issues.
β’ Exceptional documentation and technical communication skills.
β’ Excellent customer interaction capabilities.
β’ Understanding of security principles and best practices for isolated environments.
β’ Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
