EHS Site Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily EHS operations at construction project sites, encompassing new installations, rehabilitation, and EPC/turnkey projects.

• Lead and nurture a small team of EHS professionals on-site, including making staffing decisions, fostering performance development, and mentoring less experienced team members.

• Propel the execution of Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs.

• Engage and influence Project Directors, Site Managers, consortium partners, and subcontractors to cultivate a high-performance safety culture.

• Monitor and report EHS performance through corporate digital reporting tools, identify issues proactively, and suggest practical solutions.

• Ensure compliance with national legislation, GE Vernova corporate EHS policy, and international standards.

• Identify risks and drive necessary corrective actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A formal education culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), EHS Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in EHS and/or construction project safety management.

• Valid Occupational Safety and Health Manager (Class B or above) certification, as mandated by Taiwan regulatory authorities.

• NEBOSH / IOSH qualification or a local legislative equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and practical experience with PTW and LOTO systems.

• Proficient in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), in both written and spoken forms.

• Willingness to work night shifts as dictated by project schedules.

• Prior experience with Taiwan Power Company (TPC) projects is preferred.

• Background in power plant and/or oil & gas construction environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with GE Vernova or equivalent corporate EHS digital reporting platforms is preferred.
