This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Ensure the utmost quality of input for major requests for proposals, encompassing development strategy, regulatory matters, drug class considerations, protocol and indication aspects including safety, team education, interactions with client physicians, and identifying business opportunities.
• Facilitate proactive client engagement alongside therapeutic area leaders and senior directors.
• Create and foster strategic alliances.
• Engage in client governance and advisory boards.
• Deliver industry-standard product development plans and high-level clinical trial protocol designs through PPD’s consulting services.
• Offer therapeutic and developmental expertise to internal teams.
• Provide indication-specific training for clinical teams.
• Oversee clinical trial execution.
• Compose and evaluate Investigator Brochures, clinical study reports, NDA/MAA clinical packages, and other regulatory briefing documents.
• Assist in the design and reporting of feasibility studies.
• Act as a liaison with investigators and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Mentor and supervise clinical scientists.
• Be an active participant in multidisciplinary teams and working groups, contributing to innovative initiatives.
• Travel to China, with the possibility of relocation considered.
• MD or equivalent is mandatory.
• Certified Oncologist with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, leading clinical development of at least one asset from discovery to registration.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• An active medical license is preferred, though not required.
• Capable of functioning within a matrix organization.
• Able to demonstrate decisive, customer-focused, flexible thinking, smart-risk-taking, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating staff across departments.
• Strong skills in presenting and communicating complex information clearly.
• Comfortable managing sensitive and confidential issues.
• Possesses a proactive attitude and is capable of implementing and following through on activities and projects.
