Working Student Data Analytics – Controlling Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist the Controlling and Business Intelligence teams in establishing a centralized data architecture.

• Design and sustain end-to-end data pipelines for both operational and financial data.

• Facilitate automated reporting, forecasting datasets, and KPI monitoring.

• Independently create analyses, dashboards, and reports using Looker.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of finance-related datasets.

• Aid in the automation and enhancement of reporting processes for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Investigate and apply AI-driven data analytics to enhance forecasting, anomaly detection, and business insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled for at least two more semesters at a German university in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar data-centric degree program.

• Able to work 15–20 hours per week.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Experience with Git is advantageous.

• Initial experience handling large datasets, including data ingestion, transformation, or data modeling.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

• Initial experience with AI or Machine Learning, such as predictive modeling, forecasting, or related libraries/tools, is beneficial.

• An interest in finance, controlling, or business performance analysis is an advantage.

• Excellent written and spoken skills in both German and English (C-level).
