Educational Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary relationship manager for a group of families.

• Conduct initial intake calls with new families, setting clear and confident expectations.

• Create and oversee class schedules for various students, teachers, and platforms.

• Proactively communicate with families regarding scheduling, progress, and any concerns through phone, video, and written correspondence.

• Monitor student progress and raise any concerns to the appropriate specialist.

• Collaborate with instructors to ensure that sessions proceed seamlessly.

• Utilize scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, video conferencing, and CRM/case management tools on a daily basis.

• Professionally represent Tutor Me Education in all interactions.

• Provide basic oversight of IEP/504 accommodation compliance; comprehensive training will be provided.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory and will be rigorously evaluated during the interview process.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection, a functional webcam, and a headset/microphone for virtual meetings are essential.

• Willingness to learn and utilize various software platforms (proficiency in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office is required; training on scheduling and CRM tools will be provided).

• Previous experience in a remote or virtual position is highly preferred.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to independently manage multiple priorities.

• Experience in customer service, account management, or client-facing roles is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Some experience in an educational environment (school, tutoring, or similar) is required.

• Experience with special education, IEPs, or students with disabilities is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage.
