This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in absence and disability management.
• Participate in the creation and execution of DMEC’s educational events, products, and services.
• Work alongside subject matter experts to ensure that educational offerings adhere to federal and state regulations and maintain relevance.
• Review and develop educational materials and resources.
• Facilitate and/or produce webinars and virtual conferences, providing logistics and technical support.
• Conduct annual content reviews and update curricula for training programs.
• Write or source supplementary content for designated projects.
• Evaluate DMEC publications, conference proposals, webinars, and white papers.
• Engage in testing and quality assurance for pulse surveys and training development initiatives.
• Act as the primary contact for learners' inquiries regarding training content and systems.
• Aid in the design and rollout of DMEC training courses.
• Organize, implement, and oversee member communications, including FAQ Friday and community inquiries.
• Oversee the ongoing distribution of FMLA/ADA Training for Supervisors and Managers.
• Manage project timelines and collaborate across departments to achieve milestones and deliverables.
• In-depth knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), workers’ compensation, short-term and long-term disability, stay-at-work and return-to-work strategies, mental health, and absence management.

• Proven problem-solving capabilities and the ability to effectively lead and collaborate within and across departments.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills.
• Strong project management abilities; capable of handling multiple projects, integrating feedback from various stakeholders, and meeting stringent deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in human resources or a related field).
• Over 5 years of experience in the development and/or management of absence management programs.
• 1–2 years of experience managing educational programming or content development is preferred.
• People management experience is preferred.
• Experience in associations is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as ADMS, ARM, CCM, CEBS, CDMS, CLMS, CMP, CPDM, CRCC, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, or similar are desirable.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Requirement for a quiet home office.
• Potential travel one to three times annually for conferences and events.
