Education Data Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Define, prioritize, and validate product content for designated states and accounts.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and the EDS Team Lead.

• Act as the main point of contact for a specific set of customer accounts.

• Communicate proficiently in Spanish with customer accounts regarding routine operations and critical issues.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the products being supported.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to develop high-quality content catalogs.

• Define and implement quality assurance testing for state content prior to customer distribution.

• Develop help documentation and rule definitions in Spanish.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Spanish (both spoken and written) is essential.

• Background in K-12 education is required.

• Familiarity with school district operations, educational data and data systems, as well as State Department of Education regulations.

• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates, developers, Product Owners, and customers.

• Experience with Student Information Systems, particularly PowerSchool or Infinite Campus.

• Comfortable serving as the primary contact for multiple customer relationships.

• Experience with state reporting in PowerSchool or Infinite Campus is a plus.

• Knowledge of SQL, including multi-table joins, aggregate functions, and subqueries is advantageous.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or JSON is a plus.
