EDS Migration Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain websites and components utilizing AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS)

• Create and tailor EDS blocks/components in alignment with business and design specifications

• Utilize EDS project boilerplate and content pipeline

• Assist in AEM/EDS migration projects, which include transitioning existing web experiences to EDS

• Construct responsive, accessible, and high-performing web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Employ AI-driven development tools and methodologies to expedite EDS implementation and development

• Enhance web pages for Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, performance, and scalability

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, content teams, and fellow developers

• Diagnose and rectify front-end and EDS-related challenges

• Adhere to coding standards, Git-based development practices, and established CI/CD processes

• Conduct cross-browser testing and resolve UI compatibility issues

• Implement responsive and mobile-first designs across various devices and browsers

• Work with design systems, component libraries, and tools for design handoff

• Transform designs into high-quality front-end experiences

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of Front-End / Web Development experience

• Practical experience with AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) (preferred)

• Proficient in EDS block/component development

• Familiarity with EDS project boilerplate and content pipeline

• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript

• Experience with AI-assisted / AI-based EDS implementations

• Good grasp of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and front-end performance optimization

• Proficient with Git and CI/CD workflows

• Exposure to AEM/EDS migration projects (highly preferred)

• Experience with Flexbox, CSS Grid, animations, and responsive design

• Background in mobile-first development

• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing

• Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards

• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools

• Experience with build tools and CI/CD workflows

• Background in Agile development environments (preferred)
