This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer daily assistance to The Princeton Review’s editorial and data teams within the product division.
• Ensure the precision, organization, and prompt delivery of both print and digital publishing projects.
• Address editorial support requests, including reported mistakes, Online Student Tools inquiries, guidebook questions, and refund inquiries.
• Monitor reported errors in Excel and update the Book Corrections list in Student Tools.
• Evaluate eBook passes, identify mistakes, and communicate necessary corrections.
• Assist in the cover review process by submitting second-pass covers to the Legal department and updating Google Sheets for forthcoming book web assets.
• Request permissions for materials utilized in retail and course books and submit associated materials to Accounts Payable.
• Process freelancer invoices, track them in Excel, create customer refund check requests, and submit receipts to the Director of Editorial.
• Order books for editors and authors using the TPR Amazon account and the company payment card.
• Conduct monthly reviews of Amazon listings for TPR books, update tracking files with recent reviews, and share findings with editors.
• Collaborate on social media projects, including research, scriptwriting, content calendars, and video recording.
• Assist with special projects, including Bill.com administration, social media platforms, research, and coordination of conference calendars.
• Bachelor's degree; a degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of editorial experience is preferred.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer databases.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage various projects under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Keen attention to detail and proficiency in accurately tracking information in spreadsheets and other systems.
• Adaptable and willing to assist with a broad spectrum of editorial, administrative, and project-based tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
