This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, compose, edit, and publish high-quality technology articles.

• Recognize emerging trends, startups, founders, products, and technologies that merit coverage.

• Perform interviews with founders, investors, engineers, executives, and leaders in technology.

• Generate original story concepts and unique editorial perspectives.

• Report on AI, startups, venture capital, software, fintech, deep tech, and other emerging technologies.

• Edit articles, interviews, opinion pieces, newsletters, and extensive features.

• Simplify complex technical ideas into clear and engaging narratives.

• Keep track of significant developments within the technology landscape.

• Cultivate relationships with founders, investors, researchers, operators, and industry professionals.

• Collaborate with social media, video, design, and growth teams to disseminate editorial content.

• Contribute to the development of innovative editorial formats, newsletters, interviews, podcasts, and digital series.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in technology journalism, editorial work, media, content, startups, or a related area.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of technology and the startup ecosystem.

• Outstanding research and interviewing skills.

• Strong editorial judgment with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to uncover unique angles and transform them into captivating narratives.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic environment.

• Capable of handling breaking news, analytical pieces, interviews, and long-form stories.

• Experience in covering AI, startups, venture capital, or emerging technology is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with newsletters, social media, podcasts, or video content is a plus.
