This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and prioritize the team's workload, projects, and initiatives associated with EDI processes and payer connectivity.
• Plan and manage both ongoing and upcoming EDI changes, payer modifications, and production requests.
• Take ownership of operational support for production practices, incidents, and help desk escalations, ensuring adherence to service levels.
• Direct the hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and development of team members assigned to you.
• Monitor team performance on support tickets, documentation, and follow-ups, holding the team to quality and turnaround standards.
• Facilitate coordination between partners and the core development team to address issues and queries that arise during day-to-day operations.
• Proactively communicate updates, risks, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Oversee the testing of production applications and the establishment and maintenance of recovery procedures.
• Develop, document, and uphold operational policies, procedures, and standards for the EDI Operations team.
• Manage departmental metrics and reporting, utilizing data to monitor performance, identify trends, and guide decision-making.
• Lead root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews for production issues within EDI Operations, driving corrective and preventive actions to completion.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with EDI transaction types (X12 837D, 270/271, 835, XML, etc.), including production operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management or supervisory roles, demonstrating the ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Experience in owning operational metrics, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with Postman and SoapUI is preferred.
• Ability to adapt swiftly as needed and act promptly.
• Strong planning, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications and adept at using the internet.
• Capacity to effectively multitask with precision in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of technical and procedural aspects and functions.
• Ability to solve practical problems and navigate a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
