This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Guide the delivery of essential customer-facing experiences and features across various applications, platforms, and experiences for the Sunbelt Rentals brand.
• Direct the product management function by defining value creation and advocating for the customer throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
• Enhance overall eCommerce revenue by optimizing online shopping and purchasing experiences within the rental service industry.
• Formulate product strategy, develop roadmaps, and create business cases.
• Collaborate with internal creative teams and engineering departments, as well as with external development partners.
• Oversee digital product development through all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Identify and address consumer and business challenges.
• Prioritize high-value opportunities and bring them to market.
• Leverage data and qualitative insights to craft outstanding digital experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product or experience management, focusing on strategy development, roadmaps, and business cases.
• At least 3 years of experience collaborating with internal creative and engineering teams or external development partners.
• More than 3 years managing eCommerce solutions with expertise in either Direct-to-Consumer or Business-to-Business models.
• Preferred experience in the Rental, Logistics, Retail, or Supply Chain industries.
• Familiarity with user-centered product development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean software development.
• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for product user stories and agile development.
• Proven track record in leading digital product development across all product lifecycle phases.
• Experience successfully translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ability to identify and resolve real consumer and business issues, with a demonstrated capacity to prioritize high-value opportunities for market delivery.
• Expertise in utilizing data and qualitative insights to design exceptional digital experiences.
• Familiarity with web and mobile product technologies and best practices in user experience.
• Strong working relationships across various organizational levels, as well as with external agencies and suppliers.
• Capability to meet physical demands such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required by the role.
