EA-Support Specialist I – Seasonal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess and resolve client concerns by working closely with sales, product, data, and/or engineering teams.

• Dedicate around 90% of time to handling cases and participating in Zoom calls.

• Maintain a foundational understanding of the primary business line and provide at least basic support for Digital.

• Assist assigned clients as a backup to an account manager or a more senior client services representative when necessary.

• Facilitate public training sessions related to the business line and Digital.

• Follow guidance from Team Leads on cases to adhere to team claiming standards.

• Offer front-line support for Democratic campaigns, parties, PACs, and progressive organizations.

• Conduct web-based training and assist new customers in utilizing NGP VAN tools effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience with compliance, fundraising, and/or email tools for political campaigns, unions, or nonprofits.

• Familiarity with NGP8, EveryAction, VAN, or VoteBuilder (or their competitors), preferably in an administrative or leadership position.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong critical thinking abilities and logical problem-solving skills.

• Eagerness to learn.

• Professional phone etiquette and patience.

• Proven self-motivation and a strong work ethic.

• Detail-oriented with prompt and attentive follow-up.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for Democratic and progressive politics and ideals.

• Technologically proficient and adaptable to working with various organizations.

• Previous experience in teaching or training, including mentoring, tutoring, or software support.

• Experience in customer relations or a similar field is valued but not mandatory.

• This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by CWA Local 1400, 2336, or 13000.
