This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for enterprise applications that support military family readiness initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with government stakeholders, users, business analysts, UX designers, and engineering teams to convert mission requirements into product specifications.
• Prioritize features, manage product backlogs, and ensure that development efforts are in alignment with user needs and program goals.
• Oversee product planning, release management, and stakeholder engagement throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Balance considerations of customer experience, mission outcomes, technical feasibility, cybersecurity requirements, and program priorities when making product decisions.
• Utilize data, user feedback, and operational insights to enhance products continuously and maximize value delivery.
• Manage software products designed to support U.S. military Service Members and their families globally.
• Convert customer requirements into software functionalities that facilitate access to essential services, resources, and support programs for military family members who have special medical or educational needs.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance, validated by a Tier 3 background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software product management, product ownership, or technology leadership.
• Proven experience in developing product roadmaps, feature strategies, and user-centric requirements.
• Experience in leading Agile product teams in enterprise or federal settings.
• Familiarity with supporting digital transformation initiatives or mission-driven software products.
• Strong grasp of Agile delivery, backlog management, and sprint planning processes.
• Knowledge of end-to-end software development lifecycles.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices that support product operations.
• Understanding of secure software design principles and cybersecurity considerations for federal systems.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to translate mission requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent prioritization and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to user-centered design.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification is required.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is required.
• Preferred experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Preferred familiarity with AWS GovCloud, cloud-native architectures, or enterprise service integrations.
• Preferred experience in applying human-centered design principles.
• Preferred certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or other relevant product management credentials.
