This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Prepare and launch new products across the client's e-commerce websites and domains, handling volumes of up to 900 product listings weekly during peak times.
• Create and sustain product pages, ensuring that product information, descriptions, dimensions, images, videos, upsells, and cross-sells are thorough and accurate.
• Upload and arrange product images and other visual assets accurately corresponding to the correct SKUs.
• Review existing product pages and systematically address the backlog to pinpoint products needing visual merchandising enhancements or content refinement.
• Enhance underperforming product pages by assessing imagery, descriptions, dimensions, and overall presentation.
• Conduct comprehensive quality checks on product data and visual content before and after products are published.
• Utilize Excel and Google Sheets to download, manipulate, organize, filter, and audit product data.
• Methodically work through large quantities of SKUs while maintaining exceptional accuracy and consistency.
• Employ content management and e-commerce systems to create, update, and manage product listings.
• Execute basic image editing tasks such as resizing and background removal using Photoshop and Photoroom.
• Evaluate product presentation from both customer and commercial viewpoints, ensuring pages are visually attractive and positioned to facilitate conversions.
• Identify and address incorrect, incomplete, or subpar product content rather than merely processing it.
• Collaborate with product, merchandising, and e-commerce team members to resolve issues and ensure products are publication-ready.
• Manage tasks and communicate with the broader team via Slack and Asana.
• Adhere to established processes and systems while becoming acquainted with the client's proprietary e-commerce platform.
• Utilize AI tools when beneficial, while independently verifying and challenging AI-generated information.
• Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce product merchandising, catalogue management, product content, or a comparable role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, particularly with large datasets.
• Experience with product page optimization, catalogue clean-up, or website content maintenance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the capability to identify minor errors and inconsistencies.
• Strong data management, auditing, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with CMS, e-commerce, or product management systems.
• Basic skills in Photoshop, including product image resizing and background removal, with experience in Photoroom or similar image editing tools.
• A keen visual sense and the ability to evaluate whether product content appears professional and commercially suitable.
• Understanding of how product presentation impacts e-commerce conversion and customer experience.
• Strong written English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Highly organized and capable of managing repetitive, high-volume tasks without sacrificing quality.
• Proactive attitude, willing to question information, highlight issues, and take responsibility for problem resolution.
• Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and product ranges.
• Able to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with a broader team.
• Experience with Shopify or another recognized e-commerce platform is a plus.
• Experience managing large product catalogues or significant volumes of SKUs is advantageous.
• Background in retail, motorcycle, automotive, powersports, or another product-heavy e-commerce environment is beneficial.
