This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the market to ensure a steady influx of qualified drivers.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, generating reports, requesting necessary documentation, and arranging drug tests.
• Leverage Tenstreet and additional platforms to monitor, process, and assess candidates.
• Employ social media, advertising, and recruitment events to broaden the pool of driver leads and applications.
• Keep abreast of market trends, including competitor compensation structures and recruiting methodologies.
• Collaborate with Terminal Managers and Operations to synchronize hiring practices with compensation frameworks, capacity requirements, and retention objectives.
• Track onboarding trends within the market and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to FMCSA and DOT regulations throughout the qualification and hiring processes.
• Provide an excellent candidate experience through prompt communication, transparency, and professionalism.
• Advocate for company culture, support retention efforts, and act as a recruitment resource for operations personnel.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required; college coursework is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in truck driver recruiting is necessary.
• Experience in owner-operator recruiting is highly preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience using Tenstreet is required.
• Previous experience in intermodal/drayage or the transportation sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA, DOT, and driver qualification standards is essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are required.
• Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms (such as Tenstreet) is necessary.
• Ability to think independently with problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to follow-through.
• Capability to cultivate strong relationships with candidates, operations staff, and leadership.
