This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Create and implement recruiting strategies tailored to each market to sustain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers.
• Oversee the complete recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, generating reports, requesting documentation, and scheduling drug screenings.
• Utilize Tenstreet and other platforms to monitor, process, and assess candidates effectively.
• Employ social media, advertising, and recruitment events to enhance driver leads and applications.
• Maintain comprehensive market knowledge, including competitor compensation structures, trends, and recruiting methodologies.
• Collaborate with Terminal Managers and Operations to ensure hiring aligns with compensation structures, capacity requirements, and retention objectives.
• Track onboarding trends by market and proactively pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to all FMCSA and DOT regulations throughout the qualification and hiring process.
• Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication, transparency, and professionalism.
• Advocate for company culture, support retention initiatives, and act as a recruiting resource for operations staff.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; college coursework is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of truck driver recruiting experience is required (experience with owner-operator recruiting is strongly preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience with Tenstreet is required.
• Previous experience in intermodal/drayage or the transportation industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA, DOT, and driver qualification standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms (e.g., Tenstreet).
• Independent thinker with problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to follow-through.
• Ability to forge strong relationships with candidates, operations staff, and leadership.
