This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee business development initiatives and identify new opportunities to promote top-line growth for the Requirements and Capabilities Land Warfare & Air Defense organization.

• Spearhead business development activities for Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) programs.

• Provide innovative business solutions to clients by utilizing Raytheon’s offerings and capabilities.

• Implement business development strategies aimed at achieving growth targets exceeding $2 billion over a five-year period.

• Organize and carry out prioritized action plans and milestones focused on securing pursuits aligned with the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and partners to strategize, develop, and execute capture strategies for LW&AD pursuits.

• Oversee and manage New Business Investment accounts, capture and proposal gate reviews, new business evaluations, pipeline assessments, international representatives and consultants, as well as customer interactions.

• Offer professional and technical guidance to the business development team, LW&AD Strategic Business Unit, and relevant customers.

• Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations on federal and state/local public policy and the advancement of new technologies and solutions.

• Travel both internationally and domestically as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 10 years of experience.

• Background in government, defense, or aerospace industries.

• Experience in presenting and communicating effectively with customers and senior leadership.

• Knowledge of capabilities integration across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF).

• Experience engaging with Joint and/or Interagency organizations/customers.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.

• Current Secret security clearance is necessary.

• Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally and 40% domestically.

• Preferred: Capability to be creative, innovative, take initiative, and act swiftly and effectively.

• Preferred: Relevant government and/or industry experience with a well-established network across government, including ASA ALT, Army Staff, COCOMs, ODCs, ACC, and AMCOM.

• Preferred: Understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

• Preferred: Familiarity with business development, investment funding, and international strategic assessment processes.

• Preferred: Understanding of requirements generation, resource sponsors, and/or program management.
