This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Deliver technical consultation to business partners and IT management.
• Ensure the creation of efficient systems by adhering to established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with domain architects, solution architects, and enterprise architecture to offer expertise in digital products or infrastructure services.
• Uphold the company's architectural strategy.
• Mentor and coach engineers and members of the project team.
• Design solutions that meet requirements for availability, scalability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Resolve technological disputes through informed and rational discussions.
• Modify solutions to align with corporate initiatives and IT strategies.
• Evaluate technical decisions and key architecture with vendors, project teams, and subject matter experts.
• Convert preliminary designs into technical design documents and achieve consensus from stakeholders.
• Create architecture documents and artifacts in collaboration with IT and business teams.
• Engage in IT governance processes and assess alternative approaches and associated risks.
• Develop and review business cases, technical statements of work, presentations, research findings, architectural diagrams, and supporting details.
• Effectively communicate with non-technical audiences, including senior product and business management.
• Transition from business strategy to detailed technical design and implementation.
• Investigate and implement best-practice frameworks and capability models to manage costs, enhance quality, and boost service-delivery predictability.
• Mastery of at least one enterprise architecture framework (Zachman, TOGAF, or others).
• Professional IT Architect certification is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge across various technology domains.
• Ability to swiftly learn and apply new techniques and technologies.
• Qualified expert in information and data management methodologies and techniques.
• Capability to analyze, consolidate, and articulate complex topics to all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through capabilities, and ability to escalate key issues.
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Skills in relationship management and negotiation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing business needs.
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities.
• Collaborative, servant-leader mindset with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Information Technology or an architectural role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
