This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
• Report directly to the National Sales Director for Targeted Accounts.
• Create and implement strategic and tactical plans to surpass sales objectives.
• Take ownership of the division strategy and sales for Targeted Accounts.
• Recruit, select, and lead Account Managers for Targeted Accounts.
• Plan and distribute resources effectively.
• Oversee the overall performance of the sales team.
• Guide Account Managers in focusing on strategic initiatives within high-performing accounts that support Hematology and Solid Tumor franchises.
• Adjust strategic focus as promotional strategies change.
• Act as a content expert in the oncology marketplace.
• Foster a culture of ongoing learning and development.
• Support programs for competency-based training and development.
• Conduct training sessions that cover effective communication, advanced analytics, and customer service.
• Build genuine relationships based on openness, vulnerability, and trust.
• A Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales management.
• A proven history of success in a management capacity.
• Experience in specialty sales is essential.
• Knowledge of reimbursement, distribution, managed care processes, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals, and Medicare Part D.
• Extensive cross-functional experience in commercial roles such as marketing, sales operations, training, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, and hospital markets.
• Capability to measure and analyze ROI and KPIs.
• Familiarity with CRM software is necessary.
• Ability to formulate new business strategies.
• Proficiency in conducting Crucial Conversations.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Results-oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
• Must demonstrate resilience when faced with challenges.
• Should possess a self-starting, self-managing, and independent work style.
• Travel required: 50%.
• A Master's degree in Organizational Development (OD), Organizational Leadership (ORGL), or an MBA is preferred.
