This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Implement a strategic approach to support designated district(s) and expand new business through sales initiatives.
• Meet a New Account Sales Target for newly claimed business over a rolling 12-month period.
• Foster ongoing sales through tailored programs such as Preventative Maintenance and My Tech offerings for new clients.
• Maintain and oversee an active prospect list, consistently reaching out to potential customers until a sale is secured.
• Regularly update and manage the CRM system.
• Maintain frequent communication with the Smart Care service team regarding the sales pipeline, key prospects, and technician team updates.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to achieve growth and utilization goals for the district.
• Conduct quarterly audits of assigned accounts to promote current programs, introduce customer programs/solutions via consultative selling, and enhance customer business volume.
• Develop and sustain internal cross-divisional relationships, focusing on lead sharing and collaborative selling across divisions.
• Set pricing agreements in accordance with divisional and corporate pricing approval procedures.
• Provide weekly updates to management on sales performance objectives.
• Manage and interpret key reports to effectively oversee business operations.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to drive business growth.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
• Conduct prospect surveys and create professional, solution-oriented proposals to secure new business.
• Report directly to the General Manager with a dotted-line reporting structure to the Regional Sales Manager.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in food service, food equipment, food safety, or a related field.
• At least two years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in food service operations.
• Proven skills in relationship management and consulting.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities along with effective time management skills.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software tools, such as Salesforce.
• Prior experience in business-to-business value-added sales.
• Consistent track record of success in achieving sales objectives in a sales or account management role.
