This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Deliver a strategic approach to support designated district(s) and expand new business through sales initiatives.
• Meet a New Account Sales Target for newly acquired business over a continual 12-month period.
• Foster ongoing, repeat sales with tailored programs such as Preventative Maintenance and My Tech initiatives for new clients.
• Report directly to the General Manager while also having a dotted-line report to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Achieve or surpass the new business goals set by the Manager.
• Maintain an active prospect list and consistently reach out to potential clients until sales are finalized.
• Regularly update and manage the CRM tool.
• Maintain open communication with the Smart Care service team regarding the sales pipeline, key prospects, and the status of the technician team.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to meet district growth and utilization targets.
• Conduct quarterly audits of assigned accounts to promote current programs, introduce customer solutions through consultative selling, and enhance customer business volume.
• Develop and sustain internal cross-divisional relationships to promote lead sharing and collaborative selling across divisions.
• Price agreements in accordance with divisional and corporate pricing approval protocols.
• Provide management with weekly updates on sales objectives.
• Analyze and comprehend key reports to effectively manage business operations.
• Work closely with the District Manager to drive business growth.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Conduct prospect surveys and create professional solution-oriented proposals to attract new business.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the food service, food equipment, food safety, or a related sector, along with at least two years of sales experience demonstrating a successful track record.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record are required.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Familiarity and experience in food service operations.
• Proven skills in relationship management and consulting.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skills.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CRM software tools, such as Salesforce.
• Background in business-to-business value-added sales.
• Consistent history of success and achievement of sales targets in a sales or account management role.
