This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Implement a strategic approach to assist assigned district(s) and foster new business through fresh sales initiatives.
• Meet a New Account Sales Target for newly claimed business on a continuous 12-month basis.
• Promote steady, recurring sales via tailored programs like Preventative Maintenance and My Tech programs with new clients.
• Report directly to the General Manager, while also having a dotted-line reporting relationship with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Meet or surpass the new business goal set by the Manager.
• Maintain and oversee an active prospect list, consistently reaching out to potential customers until a sale is secured.
• Update and manage the CRM tool effectively.
• Regularly communicate with the Smart Care service team regarding the sales pipeline, key prospects, and technician team status.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to achieve district growth and utilization goals.
• Conduct quarterly audits of assigned accounts to promote current programs, introduce customer programs/solutions through consultative selling, and enhance account business volume.
• Cultivate and sustain internal cross-divisional relationships, focusing on lead sharing and collaborative team selling.
• Price agreements in accordance with divisional and corporate pricing approval protocols.
• Provide weekly updates to management on sales objectives.
• Manage and interpret key reports to efficiently oversee business operations.
• Partner and work with the District Manager to expand the business.
• Work safely and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Conduct prospect surveys and develop professional, solution-oriented proposals to secure new business.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in food service, food equipment, food safety, or a related industry, along with at least two years of sales experience demonstrating a proven track record.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in food service operations.
• Self-driven with a strong focus on achieving results.
• Proven skills in relationship management and consulting.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and effective time management abilities.
• Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software tools such as Salesforce.
• Previous experience in business-to-business value-added sales is essential.
• A history of consistent success and achievement of sales targets in a sales or account management role.
