This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Oversee the attainment of unit and revenue targets for designated therapy products within a specific district.
• Support the district and region in fulfilling therapy product sales and marketing objectives.
• Formulate and execute both short-term and long-term business strategies.
• Carry out field visits, meetings, and phone communications.
• Train and enhance the skills of employees in sales techniques, product knowledge, teamwork, territory management, competitive awareness, and career aspirations.
• Coordinate sales initiatives and convey corporate, divisional, regional, and district missions, goals, and activities.
• Lead and inspire personnel to meet unit and revenue objectives.
• Offer continuous feedback, coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Implement corrective measures and assist with personal development plans.
• Utilize customer-centered quality principles.
• Manage district budgets, forecasts, inventory, and expenditures.
• Negotiate and resolve pricing and contract-related issues.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and managers from other product categories.
• Foster ethical, long-term customer relationships and act as a representative of Medtronic management to clients.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates while achieving workplace diversity objectives.
• Provide market intelligence insights to sales and marketing management.
• Travel approximately 50% within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of pertinent sales experience; or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.
• A valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy are required.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• Experience in spine sales is preferred.
• Proven track record in medical sales, ideally with Neuroscience products.
• Preference for candidates with experience in sales and personnel management functions.
• Familiarity with the Neuroscience assigned product/therapy customer base is preferred.
• Additional experience in marketing, training, technical services, or related fields is preferred.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
