This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Oversee the attainment of unit and revenue targets for designated therapy products within a specific district.
• Support the district and region in meeting therapy product sales and marketing goals.
• Create and execute strategies for both short-term and long-term business objectives.
• Carry out field visits, conduct meetings, and make telephone contacts.
• Train and mentor staff in sales techniques, product knowledge, teamwork, territory management, competitive insights, and career aspirations.
• Coordinate sales activities effectively.
• Convey corporate, divisional, regional, and district missions, goals, and initiatives.
• Lead and inspire personnel to meet unit and revenue targets.
• Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Enforce corrective measures when necessary.
• Assist team members with their individual development plans.
• Employ customer-centric quality principles.
• Oversee district assets, budgets, forecasts, inventory, and expenditures.
• Negotiate and resolve pricing and contract-related issues.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and managers from other product lines.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships and act as a representative of Medtronic management to clients.
• Recruit, interview, and hire candidates for open positions while promoting workplace diversity initiatives.
• Provide marketing intelligence insights to sales and marketing leadership.
• Execute responsibilities in accordance with the Quality System.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of pertinent sales experience; alternatively, an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license along with an active vehicle insurance policy.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
• Preferred experience in spine sales.
• Proven track record in medical sales, ideally with Neuroscience products.
• Experience in sales and personnel management roles.
• Familiarity with the customer base for Neuroscience assigned products/therapies.
• Additional experience in marketing, training, technical services, or related fields.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a qualification that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is mandatory.
