This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Oversee the achievement of unit and revenue targets for designated therapy products within the district.
• Support the district and region in reaching therapy product sales and marketing goals.
• Formulate and execute both short-term and long-term business strategies.
• Conduct field visits, individual and group meetings, and engage in telephone outreach.
• Educate and develop team members in sales techniques, product knowledge, teamwork, territory management, competitive awareness, and career aspirations.
• Coordinate sales initiatives.
• Convey the corporate, divisional, regional, and district missions, goals, and activities effectively.
• Inspire and guide personnel to meet unit and revenue targets.
• Offer continuous feedback and coaching, along with scheduling performance evaluations.
• Implement corrective measures as needed.
• Assist team members with their individual development plans.
• Utilize customer-centric quality concepts.
• Oversee district assets, budgets, forecasts, inventory, and expenditures.
• Negotiate and resolve pricing and contract-related issues.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and managers across various product lines.
• Cultivate ethical and long-lasting customer relationships, representing Medtronic management to clients.
• Recruit, interview, and select candidates.
• Provide marketing insights to the sales and marketing management teams.
• Execute responsibilities in accordance with the Quality System.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time and drive to multiple accounts within the territory.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in medical sales; or an Advanced Degree and 3 years of medical sales and leadership experience.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Proven track record in medical sales, ideally with Neuromodulation products.
• Familiarity with sales and personnel management functions.
• Understanding of the Medtronic Neuromodulation assigned product/therapy customer base.
• Additional experience in marketing, training, technical services, or related fields is preferred.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that meets the criteria set forth in 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
