This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Lead and mentor Territory Managers, Associate Territory Managers, and Clinical Specialists within the designated district.
• Achieve sales targets for the district while representing Medtronic effectively.
• Supervise the hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional growth of the district sales team.
• Drive the execution of strategic sales initiatives and enhance customer engagement activities.
• Promote and sell Medtronic Neurovascular products and services within designated geographic areas and customer accounts.
• Develop, cultivate, and strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders.
• Pursue leads, assess needs, and deliver product services to maximize the benefits of Neurovascular products and services.
• Provide clinical and technical support during procedures and inform clinicians about patient treatment options.
• Advocate for the education of company products and services.
• Conduct and/or assess market research regarding customer and competitor activities.
• Develop and/or implement market development strategies and plans.
• Evaluate customer feedback concerning new products or modifications and communicate insights with R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
• Build relationships and collaborate with Marketing, Finance, HR, Sales Training, and other departments.
• Manage a regional field territory that includes Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, and Nashville.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory, which includes approximately 50% driving time and occasional overnight travel.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience; or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.
• A valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy are required.
• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience in the Medical Device field, including more than 5 years in Neurovascular or Neurosurgery.
• Preferred: At least 3 years of Sales Management experience.
• Experience leading teams in complex healthcare settings, including medical sales, marketing, or hospital service line functions.
• Proven track record of influencing business outcomes, enhancing procedure adoption, and driving revenue growth.
• Clinical experience in interventional suites, hospital environments, or emergency medical services.
• Advanced negotiation and/or presentation skills with external suppliers, customers, and/or vendors.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to large audiences.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.
• Must be independently mobile.
• Capacity to interact with a computer for extended periods and communicate with colleagues.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Proficient hearing, seeing, and speaking abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively by car and plane.
• Capability to sit and stand for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to wear a lead apron for extended periods (averaging 2–3 hours).
• Competence in operating a moving vehicle.
• Ability to work in operating rooms and/or hospital labs with radiation exposure.
• Flexibility to conduct company business outside the typical Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.
