πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Expand and sustain business within the Central MA to Southern CT sales territory.

β€’ Identify leads, cultivate relationships, and engage in prospecting to foster new business growth.

β€’ Support intricate sales processes by aligning customer requirements with customized solutions.

β€’ Oversee key mid-sized and large accounts while increasing wallet share and product usage.

β€’ Keep abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry advancements.

β€’ Comprehend products and services to effectively respond to customer inquiries and demonstrate value.

β€’ Manage the current account portfolio and enhance sales of value-added manufactured products.

β€’ Utilize a problem-solving, value-focused selling approach aimed at acquiring and retaining customers along with repeat consumable business.

β€’ Monitor sales activities, create reports, and analyze sales data.

β€’ Negotiate and finalize sales contracts and agreements to meet sales objectives.

β€’ Assist customers in reducing total costs, improving production quality, and achieving Health, Safety, and Environmental goals.

β€’ Relay customer requirements to relevant functional areas to synchronize efforts and stimulate organic sales growth.

β€’ Meet individual and team sales targets.

β€’ Collaborate with the Research & Development technical team on sales opportunities and account management.

β€’ Travel to current and prospective clients to establish relationships and drive sales growth.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Residency in Central MA to Southern CT is required for consideration.

β€’ A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the industrial or chemical sector is preferred.

β€’ Proven success in identifying leads, prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering impactful presentations.

β€’ Ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships while enhancing the value proposition of existing products.

β€’ Strong achievement orientation; motivated to excel and develop.

β€’ Capable of effectively managing time, prioritizing tasks, and adhering to deadlines.

β€’ Excellent consultation, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

β€’ Superior oral and written communication abilities.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

β€’ Demonstrated skills in sales and territory management.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips.

β€’ Capable of conducting technical and mechanical on-site testing.

β€’ Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
