This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Achieve sales goals and execute sales and account strategies established by management.
• Identify, develop, and capitalize on project opportunities within the sales region.
• Reach out to new customers and contractors to boost product demand.
• Foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers in accounts.
• Organize and conduct sales calls utilizing CRM to manage efforts and monitor outcomes.
• Deliver professional sales presentations to diverse groups including cross-functional teams, architects, distributors, builders, developers, engineers, plant managers, code officials, educators, and contractors.
• Create and execute key account strategies for significant accounts.
• Maintain regular customer calls and visits, adhering to the CRM segmentation strategy.
• Expand the customer and contractor database within the assigned territory.
• Enhance market growth by effectively communicating product value propositions to relevant groups.
• Oversee annual sales plans and strategic account initiatives.
• Collaborate with local independent manufacturer’s representatives as directed by regional sales leadership.
• Travel to provide training and support as necessary.
• Follow up on leads generated from trade shows and other sources.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of client deliveries.
• Encourage the adoption of EDI and VMI among distributors.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and track business metrics.
• Identify new business opportunities and report on trends and emerging products.
• Provide weekly updates and regular reports to management, including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.
• Track travel and incidental expenses, submitting expense reports in a timely manner.
• Utilize CRM/SAP Mobile Sales calendars to document opportunities, sales calls, customers, contractors, and activities.
• Attend meetings as required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 3 years of product sales experience.
• A valid and active Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, and CRM systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in relationship building and strategic selling techniques.
• Proven sales skills and a successful track record in business development.
• Effective planning and execution skills for sales calls.
• Business acumen to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Ability to interpret and predict changes in customer buying behaviors and product needs.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to identify market trends and implement competitive strategies.
• Proficiency in calculating discounts, profit margins, unit conversions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Capability to work from a home office.
• Competence in delivering presentations to various audiences.

• Skill in acquiring and recruiting new customers.
• Ability to achieve results within a matrix sales organization.
• Ability to create demand and drive sales results within the installer segment.
• Willingness to travel to meet customer expectations and internal requirements.
• Understanding of the construction bidding and specification project processes.
• Knowledge of the commercial construction market and its various buying influences.
• A College Degree is preferred.
