This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the main point of contact between GM, dealerships, and key business partners.
• Establish strategic relationships that enhance performance, growth, and alignment with business goals.
• Offer consultative coaching and mentorship to dealership leadership and staff.
• Evaluate dealership performance, sales trends, market conditions, competitive activities, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Discover opportunities and execute corrective measures to enhance business outcomes.
• Assist in the launch of new products, programs, and initiatives by coordinating sales, marketing, and communication efforts.
• Collaborate with dealerships to optimize vehicle and parts inventory through forecasting, ordering, allocation, and stabilization strategies.
• Become an expert in GM’s Consensus allocation system and vehicle ordering system.
• Monitor dealership commitments and action plans, ensuring timely completion.
• Promote the adoption and sales of GM vehicles, accessories, products, and services through territory-specific business plans.
• Address customer and dealership issues in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Track dealership training participation and compliance with GM standards.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to evaluate dealership operations and ensure the implementation of GM programs and expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or related areas, with a proven history of driving revenue growth.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization; preferably using Google Workspace.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to various locations within your territory.
• Must have and maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in line with the licensing requirements of the states where work is conducted.
• Must currently reside in the territory or be willing to relocate to Rochester, NY, or a nearby area approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date.
• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
