This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee and expand an approximate $3M territory in New Mexico and western Texas.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance customer relationships and boost market share.
• Collaborate with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards.
• Sustain existing business while seeking and developing new prospects.
• Offer metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products across residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
• Implement customer education and contractor training initiatives.
• Assist in contractor pull-through sales efforts.
• Work in partnership with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams.
• Manage a high volume of customer interactions and transactions.
• Facilitate customer transitions through product and system integration following operational changes.
• Travel within the assigned territory to conduct customer meetings.
• Evaluate rooftops during customer claim or project review processes.
• 3–5+ years of sales experience is preferred.
• Background in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with dealer/distribution sales channels is highly preferred.
• Experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles is valued.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with a focus on consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, customer-centric sales environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
• Capability to meet customers regularly throughout the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with customers.
• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and adapt to various systems and technologies.
• Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory, up to 60% is necessary.
• Capacity to climb ladders and inspect rooftops.
• Occasional lifting of product samples and materials may be necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
