This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and develop an existing territory within the Florida Peninsula.
• Discover opportunities to enhance customer relationships and boost market presence.
• Collaborate with builders, pursue direct sales opportunities, and engage with new clients to address their business requirements.
• Sustain current business while seeking and cultivating new opportunities.
• Represent metal building systems in commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
• Facilitate customer education and contractor training initiatives.
• Work alongside internal departments to enhance and streamline the customer experience.
• Handle a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a dynamic environment.
• Travel throughout the designated territory, engaging in office tasks, driving, customer-facing roles, and job site activities.
• Experience in the pre-engineered metal building sector.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated sales/marketing or sales management experience, or 2 years in Building Materials.
• Background in estimating, inside sales, engineering, or project management is valued.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with a focus on consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced, customer-centric sales environment.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to meet with customers on a regular basis throughout the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capability to learn and adapt to various proprietary systems and technologies.
• Frequent travel within the assigned territory, averaging 50–70% of the time.
• Occasional lifting of product samples and materials may be necessary.
