This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as an external District Sales Manager to foster sales growth and customer retention.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales.
• Create and execute market strategies that include customer analysis, competitive assessments, growth opportunities, and revenue objectives.
• Gain a thorough understanding of key customers’ businesses and their performance metrics.
• Effectively communicate product and system features and advantages to clients.
• Identify and pursue customer leads and potential opportunities.
• Engage with customers to uncover their needs.
• Educate clients, interpret project requirements, and formulate project specifications.
• Generate project estimates and sales for pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and metal roofing and wall systems.
• Follow up on quotes and successfully close sales.
• Ensure that sales activities adhere to pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Act as the customer liaison and maintain positive relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the customer experience.
• Serve as a bridge between clients and the company regarding potential issues and customer needs.
• Analyze and report on competitive market trends.
• Deliver customer-focused activities, services, and deliverables.
• Carry out additional assigned tasks.
• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in sales/marketing or sales management is required.
• Preferred experience in building materials, specifically in pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, or metal roofing and wall systems.
• Familiarity with the construction process is essential.
• Strong knowledge of drafting, estimating, and inside sales functions.
• Capability to understand and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with team members and customers.
• Proficiency in analyzing market conditions and competitive landscapes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Expected travel of 50–70% within the assigned market, including 1–2 overnight trips.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong professionalism and work ethic are essential.
• Proficient in personal computer and business software applications.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
