This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as an external District Sales Manager to enhance sales growth and retention.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales.
• Create and execute market strategies that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue objectives.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of key customers’ businesses and performance metrics.
• Effectively communicate product and system features and benefits to clients.
• Identify and pursue potential customer leads and opportunities.
• Engage in discussions to understand customer requirements.
• Educate clients, interpret project specifications, and develop detailed project requirements.
• Generate project estimates and sales for pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and metal roofing and wall systems.
• Follow up on and finalize quotes.
• Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures during sales transactions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers to maintain positive relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the company regarding potential issues and customer needs.
• Analyze and provide reports on competitive market information.
• Deliver customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.
• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated sales/marketing or sales management experience is required.
• Preferred experience in building materials including pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, or metal roofing and wall systems.
• Understanding of the construction process is essential.
• Strong grasp of drafting, estimating, and inside sales functions.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Capacity to maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Ability to assess market conditions and competition to optimize strategic responses.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Expected travel ranges from 50-70% in the assigned market, which may include 1-2 overnight stays.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong professionalism and work ethic are essential.
• Proficiency in personal computer and business software applications is necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
