This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as an external District Sales Manager to enhance sales growth and customer retention.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales.
• Foster profitable growth and market expansion within assigned regions.
• Contribute to the overall growth of the region.
• Create and execute market strategies that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth prospects, and revenue objectives.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of key customers’ businesses and the factors that drive their accounts.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of products and systems to clients.
• Identify and pursue potential customer leads and opportunities.
• Engage with customers to uncover their needs.
• Educate clients, interpret project requirements, and formulate project specifications.
• Develop project estimates and facilitate the sales of pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and metal roofing and wall systems.
• Follow up on and finalize quotes.
• Ensure that sales activities align with pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and maintain strong relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the customer experience.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and the company regarding potential issues and customer needs.
• Analyze and report on competitive market data.
• Deliver and ensure customer-focused activities, outcomes, and services.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities.
• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in sales/marketing or sales management is required.
• Experience in building materials, specifically with pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, or metal roofing and wall systems, is preferred.
• Familiarity with the construction process is essential.
• Strong knowledge of drafting, estimating, and inside sales functions.
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to maintain positive relationships with both team members and clients.
• Skill in analyzing market conditions and competitive landscapes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Expected travel of 50-70% within the assigned market, including 1-2 overnight stays.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A strong sense of professionalism and work ethic is essential.
• Proficient in personal computer use and business software applications.
• Ability to utilize ERP systems, business applications, and quoting software.
• Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
