District Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and execute market strategies that encompass customer assessment, competitive analysis, growth prospects, and revenue objectives.

• Propel profitable growth and market expansion within the designated territory.

• Directly engage with subcontractors, general contractors, and roofing contractors to drive sales.

• Provide support to the components division, including MBCI and Metal Sales Brands.

• Grasp and effectively communicate the offerings and systems of Cornerstone Building Brands in the marketplace.

• Comprehend the business operations of key customers and the essential metrics influencing each account.

• Work in partnership with internal teams to enhance and streamline the customer journey.

• Report to the Regional Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and foster positive relationships.

• Adaptability to capitalize on business opportunities.

• At least 8 years of demonstrated experience in sales/marketing and/or sales management.

• Background in commercial construction and/or building materials is preferred.

• Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings is advantageous.

• Capability to assess market trends and competition to formulate strategic responses.

• Strong knowledge of Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently.

• Willingness to travel 50%–60% of the time, which includes 2–3 overnight trips per week.

• Familiarity with Operating Systems.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
