This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Offer aftermarket parts management support to dealers in areas such as parts sales, customer service, and overall business performance.
• Aid dealers in the implementation of programs aimed at increasing parts sales.
• Support dealer groups that operate across regional boundaries with APAs.
• Enhance the operational efficiency of dealer parts departments.
• Develop strategies to influence dealer behavior and achieve national aftermarket parts performance standards.
• Perform operations audits and suggest corrective measures based on thorough analysis.
• Establish relationships with Dealer Principals and Parts Managers to foster acceptance of corporate programs and aftermarket standards.
• Supply headquarters staff with field intelligence regarding program effectiveness, training needs, market trends, end-customer behavior, and competitive actions.
• Guide dealer personnel on marketing and financial objectives, facilities, staffing, business planning, pricing strategies, cost management, and absorption.
• Conduct financial analysis and assist in the creation of annual parts business plans.
• Promote and support dealer parts sales initiatives while developing sales and merchandising programs.
• Provide market analysis to inform aftermarket parts marketing strategies.
• Monitor performance and adjust departmental efforts as necessary.
• Engage with end customers alongside dealer sales/service staff and assess customer requirements.
• Evaluate dealer systems requests and coordinate suitable regional or headquarters responses.
• Analyze and relay training requests while supporting headquarters training initiatives.
• Deliver customized, on-site training as needed.
• Act as a technical consultant for both company and dealer systems activities.
• Facilitate training and communication between headquarters IT staff and dealer personnel.
• Collaborate with the corporate office to enhance dealer communication, streamline operations, and improve selling tools.
• Implement current DTNA sales programs.
• Oversee an average territory valued at $100 million, encompassing approximately 21 district locations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Capability to collaborate with all organizational levels and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient understanding of DTNA's Paragon parts system.
• Proven sales performance and background in product sales.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
• May need to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
