This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Offer aftermarket parts management support to dealers in areas such as parts sales, customer service, and overall business performance.
• Aid dealers in implementing various programs to enhance parts sales.
• Collaborate closely with DPMs in adjacent regions to assist dealer groups with APAs that span regional lines.
• Enhance operational performance of dealer-level parts departments.
• Develop strategies to modify dealer behavior and achieve national aftermarket parts performance benchmarks.
• Conduct operational audits and propose corrective actions based on thorough analysis.
• Cultivate relationships with Dealer Principals and Parts Managers to foster acceptance of corporate programs and performance metrics.
• Supply headquarters staff with field insights regarding program effectiveness, training needs, market trends, end-customer behavior, and competitive actions.
• Counsel dealer personnel on marketing and financial objectives; suggest enhancements to facilities, staff, and business planning.
• Perform financial analyses and recommend improvements in pricing strategies, cost management, and profitability.
• Assist in the creation of the annual parts business plan.
• Promote and support dealer parts sales initiatives; develop sales and merchandising strategies.
• Provide market analysis to back aftermarket parts marketing initiatives.
• Monitor performance and adjust departmental efforts as necessary.
• Engage with end customers alongside dealer sales/service personnel to assess customer needs.
• Evaluate dealer systems requests and inquiries, initiating the necessary regional or headquarters actions.
• Review dealer requests for technical or managerial training and support headquarters training programs.
• Deliver tailored, on-site training as required.
• Act as a technical consultant for the company and dealer systems activities.
• Facilitate training and act as a liaison between headquarters IT staff and dealer personnel.
• Collaborate with the corporate office on dealer/distributor communications, ease of doing business, and effectiveness of selling tools projects.
• Implement current DTNA sales programs.
• Manage a territory averaging $100 million with approximately 21 district locations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of relevant work experience in sales.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Capable of working at all organizational levels and across various functional areas.
• Ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with DTNA's Paragon parts system.
• Proven sales success and a background in product sales.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States at the time of application.
• The final candidate must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• The final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
