This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
β’ Oversee commercial activities within field teams to boost sales in the designated area.
β’ Develop, execute, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking its progress.
β’ Organize in-field initiatives to meet results and established targets.
β’ Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line results.
β’ Ensure seamless collaborative execution of day-to-day operations and long-term business strategies.
β’ Establish the tone and pace for business processes and organizational structure.
β’ Present market insights and franchise/business perspectives when leading teams.
β’ Attain expertise in product knowledge, disease states, and managed care information.
β’ Mentor, coach, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
β’ Hold direct reports accountable for their actions and expected behaviors.
β’ Provide guidance and insights to key internal partners during the business planning process.
β’ Consistently embody the AbbVie Ways of Working.
β’ Travel around 50% of the time.
β’ A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
β’ At least four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management; external management experience may also be considered.
β’ Proficient in business analysis and planning skills that enhance sales performance.
β’ Proven leadership experience as a District Manager.
β’ Good standing regarding safety and compliance standards.
β’ Currently meeting performance expectations.

β’ Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
β’ Ability to communicate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas effectively.

β’ Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, including any necessary background checks, drug screenings, immunization/vaccination documentation, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.

β’ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and comply with safe driving requirements.
