This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Build, recruit, train, mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing team of primary-care sales representatives.
• Achieve sales performance and Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet or surpass district sales plans while adhering to budget constraints.
• Manage daily in-field activities and the day-to-day oversight of assigned team members.
• Educate sales representatives on product knowledge, market dynamics, brand strategies and tactics, corporate policies, and business planning.
• Ensure the execution of territory account plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales and launch objectives.
• Establish and monitor sales performance targets and budgets; oversee Sales Force Management Systems and KPIs.
• Align district priorities, activities, and engagement plans with brand strategy and national strategic objectives.
• Drive revenue and profit targets while managing expenses prudently.
• Hold direct reports accountable through field visits, one-on-ones, and performance reviews.
• Organize and lead plan-of-action and other meetings with Sales Leadership.
• Analyze and track team performance to optimize territory results and achieve objectives.
• Uphold standards for compliance, product knowledge, brand messaging, digital resource utilization, competitor assessment, and selling skills.
• Address performance deficiencies in collaboration with Regional Directors and HR, including taking disciplinary action when necessary.
• Work with Medical, Market Access, Field Reimbursement, Account Management, Inside Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop territory strategies.
• Plan, forecast, and manage the operating budget while monitoring expenses.
• Maintain technical expertise to respond to product, policy, and business-related inquiries.
• Conduct field rides and provide timely feedback, guidance, and coaching.
• Assist in the development of POAs and National Sales Meetings, including objectives, workshops, participants, timing, agendas, and post-meeting metrics.
• Exemplify legal and company policy compliance and ensure ethical execution of regional activities.
• Engage in cross-functional preparation for launch readiness.
• BS/BA degree is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience; primary care experience is highly preferred.
• At least three (3) years of pharmaceutical sales management experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, and coaching experience with cross-functional teams or individual contributors.
• Experience in launch planning is strongly preferred, especially in primary care.
• Proven experience coaching total office call activity in a primary care or specialty context using available company resources.
• Established ability to build relationships with HCPs, pharmacies, and other key stakeholders.
• Capability to comprehend disease states, patient profiles, and treatment pathways, and present clinical information effectively.
• Documented success in sales, including meeting or exceeding territory objectives.
• Possess strategic thinking, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Experience in utilizing and optimizing CRM systems and analyzing performance metrics.
• Strong presentation, organizational, administrative, and communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and consensus-building skills across diverse cultures and disciplines.
• Ability to set a vision, lead change, and coach/mentor others effectively.
• Capacity to deliver candid and constructive feedback while managing performance.
• Knowledge of assigned products, treatment regimens, competitor products, and market and industry trends.
• Previous experience promoting newly launched products is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.
• Valid licenses and credentialing required to conduct business in the assigned territory.
• Willingness to drive or fly to target accounts, customers, meetings, and conventions.
• Completion of the full onboarding curriculum, clinical modules, CRM documentation, and fair balance call standards is necessary.
