This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Oversee, guide, mentor, and nurture a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists to meet district sales goals.
• Conduct frequent field coaching and development sessions.
• Identify, hire, onboard, and retain elite sales talent.
• Formulate and implement district business strategies to enhance market share, revenue growth, and sales performance targets.
• Assess territory and district trends and execute strategic action plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Sales Training, Operations, and Commercial Leadership teams.
• Establish and sustain relationships with key customers, Key Opinion Leaders, advocates, and strategic stakeholders.
• Assist with product launch readiness and execution.
• Oversee district budgets, resources, and business priorities.
• Utilize data, analytics, and market insights to improve district performance.
• Promote collaboration, communication, and accountability within the district and with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
• Address customer and business requirements throughout Connecticut and the neighboring areas of New York.
• Manage workload and schedule independently while achieving targets.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Alternative qualifications include: High School +13 years; Associate Degree +9 years; Master's Degree +2 years.
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience.
• 3 Years of Proven Leadership Experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
• Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from Connecticut and surrounding areas of New York.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening and weekend commitments.
• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical sales leadership.
• Preferred experience in leading product launches, commercialization efforts, and market share growth initiatives.
• Background in Ophthalmology, Dry Eye, Specialty Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, or related therapeutic fields is preferred.
• Preferred experience in coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing sales talent.
• Preferred experience in strategic planning, territory optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
• A proven track record of meeting sales objectives and district performance goals is preferred.
• Ability to establish relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, and strategic customers is preferred.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
• Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management are preferred.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities are preferred.
• Results-driven leadership, accountability, adaptability, and execution in a fast-paced business environment are preferred.
