This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.
• Report to the Regional Director of Dermatology.
• Recruit, lead, develop, and retain Dermatology Sales Representatives within the assigned district.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure sales performance consistently exceeds forecasts and product-goal expectations.
• Create, implement, and evaluate strategic business plans aimed at achieving sales objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Achieve or surpass assigned product and portfolio sales targets through direct oversight of sales representatives.
• Provide regular performance reports to sales directors.
• Engage in face-to-face customer sales interactions with representatives approximately four days each week.
• Organize and conduct district sales meetings.
• Perform regular performance evaluations.
• Attend company-sponsored events and meetings.
• Recruit, select, and train Sales Representatives.
• Establish coaching metrics for immediate and ongoing performance assessment.
• Guide, mentor, and create career development plans for district representatives.
• Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and market trends.
• Design and execute strategies to generate product demand and increase sales revenue.
• Monitor competitor activities and product offerings.
• Provide status updates to home-office teams and address district-business information inquiries.
• Identify market opportunities, share best practices, and maintain communication across the organization.
• Foster positive team dynamics aligned with company culture, values, and performance standards.
• Manage and regulate district expenditures to adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Serve as a liaison between the district, field sales management, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and other departments.
• Build and sustain relationships with key healthcare professionals throughout the district.
• Oversee the Nashville, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh markets within the Ohio Valley district.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.
• At least three years of experience in sales leadership or management.
• Experience in the Dermatology market is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of successful leadership in hiring, coaching, developing, retaining, and promoting top talent.
• Demonstrated capability to effectively guide team performance.
• Successful history and positive performance as a District Sales Manager within complex markets and systems.
• Strong comprehension of payer environments, reimbursement processes, and various payer markets at national, regional, and local levels, including government programs and managed healthcare.
• Established ability to cultivate relationships with physicians and key customers.
• Capacity to collaborate and partner with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively with local and regional influence.
• Regular overnight travel may be necessary based on geographic locations.
• Must be a resident of the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
• Must meet travel and credentialing requirements, including vaccination prerequisites.
