This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Report directly to the Regional Director of Dermatology.
• Recruit, guide, develop, and retain Dermatology Sales Representatives within the designated district.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure strong and consistent sales performance that surpasses forecasts and expectations.
• Drive accountability for district outcomes while adhering to pharmaceutical promotion compliance policies and procedures.
• Create, implement, and assess strategic business plans to achieve sales targets.
• Meet or exceed specified product or portfolio sales goals through direct management of sales representatives.
• Provide regular performance updates to sales directors.
• Engage in face-to-face customer sales calls with representatives approximately four days a week.
• Organize and execute district sales meetings.
• Conduct routine performance evaluations.
• Participate in company-sponsored events and meetings.
• Recruit, select, and train Sales Representatives.
• Support coaching metrics for immediate and sustained performance assessment.
• Lead, mentor, and develop career plans for district representatives.
• Analyze sales data, performance, and trends; devise strategies to generate product demand and sales revenue.
• Monitor competitor activities and products, providing progress updates to home-office teams.
• Identify market opportunities, share best practices, and communicate across the organization.
• Foster positive team norms that align with the company culture, behaviors, and performance expectations.
• Monitor and manage district expenditures to adhere to budgetary requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between the district, field sales management, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs) throughout the district.
• Oversee markets in Nashville, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• At least three years of sales leadership or management experience.
• Experience in the Dermatology market is highly preferred.
• A proven track record of successfully hiring, coaching, developing, retaining, and promoting top talent.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead team performance.
• A history of success and a positive track record as a District Sales Manager in complex markets within intricate systems.
• Strong understanding of the payer environment, reimbursement, and challenges within national, regional, and local payer markets, including government programs, managed healthcare, and evolving healthcare systems.
• Proven ability to establish relationships with physicians and key customers.
• Demonstrated capability to partner and collaborate with internal departments and partners.
• Willingness to travel extensively with local and regional influence.
• Regular overnight travel may be necessary based on geographic locations.
• Must be a resident of the US or Puerto Rico.

• Must meet applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including necessary vaccination prerequisites.
