This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee commercial activities within field teams to meet sales objectives in the designated region.
• Develop, execute, communicate, and evaluate the District Sales Plan.
• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line outcomes.
• Ensure effective collaboration for daily operations and long-term business execution.
• Establish the pace and framework for business processes and organizational structure.
• Present market insights and franchise/business perspectives while leading teams and conducting in-field meetings.
• Attain a deep understanding of products, disease states, and managed care information.
• Guide, mentor, educate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their actions and performance expectations.
• Offer direction and insights to internal partners during the business planning process.
• Consistently embody the AbbVie Ways of Working.
• Operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Travel is expected to be around 50% of the time.
• Responsible for covering Dallas and parts of Houston and Tyler, Texas.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management.
• Business analysis and planning skills that enhance sales performance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a District Manager.
• Compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Currently achieving performance expectations.

• Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to articulate the scientific elements of treatments and therapeutic domains.

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving criteria.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug tests, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific licenses.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain necessary HCIR credentials.
