This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Lead and nurture General Managers and Area Managers overseeing seven company-owned stores in the Kansas City, KS region.
• Drive financial and cultural success within the district.
• Establish and achieve goals, develop talent, and foster a high-performance, enjoyable culture.
• Cultivate managers who surpass guest expectations, enhance sales, and optimize profit through effective selection, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Conduct store visits 2-4 times a month and utilize People Planning, Recruiting, Financial Business Reviews, and marketing tools and directives.
• Ensure that stores are properly staffed with quality Shift Leaders and Assistant General Managers where necessary.
• Plan for succession and recruit/select General Manager candidates from both internal and external sources.
• Provide feedback, coaching, guidance, and support for career advancement.
• Oversee and engage in training from new Team Members to District Managers.
• Manage district Profit and Loss, General and Administration budgets, and financial trends.
• Support General Managers with employee/customer relations, supply chain management, and asset management challenges.
• Follow up on customer and employee complaints and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Coordinate timely openings of new stores.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across development, leadership, and learning initiatives.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of multi-unit management experience in the restaurant or retail sector.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience in analyzing financial reports (Profit and Loss, Income Statement, etc.).
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early hours as early as 3 AM depending on the bakery, as well as some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Post High School education or a college degree is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
