This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Drive store sales by delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring product availability, effective merchandising, and maintaining an excellent store image.
• Supply store management with summaries of promotional activities, business opportunities, outcomes, trends, and competitive insights.
• Oversee controllable expenses, including merchandise discrepancies, salaries, overtime, cash management, repairs, and maintenance costs.
• Work closely with the marketing team to roll out promotions and introduce new products.
• Offer insights to category managers regarding stock-related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to guarantee product availability and the timely execution of monthly promotions.
• Ensure that vendor performance and conduct remain professional.
• Manage store profitability by monitoring cash flow, merchandise discrepancies, salaries, and other controllable profit and loss expenses.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, government regulations, and restricted sales guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment while providing safety communication and training.
• Anticipate financial needs, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Lead and guide Store Managers, including recruiting, selection, orientation, employee development, training, performance evaluation, and appraisal.
• Set job expectations and coach managers on action plans for resolving issues.
• Administer counseling notices and initiate necessary corrective actions.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees.
• Comply with the Company's Operating Policy regarding legal, ethical, and moral practices.
• Enhance professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional organizations.
• Contribute to team goals by achieving financial and key result area targets according to company guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred; other combinations of relevant experience and education that meet the requirements may be considered.
• Three to five years of retail business experience is preferred, including at least two years in a management role.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Self-directed, motivated, and focused on customer service.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication in English.
• Capable of supervising and training Store Managers on the use of store equipment, tools, and materials.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions outlined in the Store Manager job description.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.
• A current valid driver’s license is required for operating a company vehicle.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to sit, talk, and/or hear; handle or grasp items of various weights; stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms.
• Capability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level for up to 30 minutes each workday.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes each workday.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds from ground to waist level for up to 30 minutes each workday.
• Ability to push and pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
• Capability to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or replace signage.
• Willingness to travel by car 50% of the time.
