This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Ensure comprehensive training for FCMs regarding therapeutic area requirements, internal processes, standard operating procedures, and client protocols.
• Oversee the hiring, performance management, development, coaching, and succession planning for the FCM team.
• Supervise and authorize FCM expenses, purchases, contracts, mileage, and other budget-related expenditures.
• Conduct regular field visits and provide support to FCMs during peak periods or in their absence.
• Establish objectives and KPIs for the FCM team and maintain tools for performance measurement.
• Ensure the team is prepared for both current and future field implementations.
• Forecast and allocate resources to meet geographical program requirements.
• Collaborate with the client's point of contact as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Offer feedback to the Senior Program Manager and stakeholders to uphold a best-in-class patient support program.
• Report all Adverse Events to the designated units or departments.
• Provide leadership and strategic program management for the client account.
• Review FCM KPIs and performance reports with key personnel from the client.
• Develop strategies and action plans in conjunction with the Program Management team and client stakeholders.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, mentor, motivate, and develop the FCM team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and professional development initiatives.
• Offer strategic guidance, facilitate milestones, monitor program activities and compliance, and enhance the customer program experience.
• Utilize CRM systems and reports to track, train, and coach the FCM team.
• Identify efficiencies and foster synergy with the management team.
• Serve as the program champion and strategic partner for key stakeholders and the client Sales Team.
• Stay informed about industry trends and upcoming legislation that may affect the business.
• A university degree in science or healthcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in people and client management, clinical or biotechnology program management, or a related healthcare domain.
• Proficiency in both English and French, both written and spoken, is advantageous.
• General understanding of reimbursement and patient assistance programs, as well as database elements and operational policies, is beneficial.
• A nursing background is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Experience in healthcare settings is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of pharmaceutical industry business principles.
• Ability to apply medical and business knowledge within provincial and private payer markets while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
• Exceptional people management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience with a field-based team.
• Capability to leverage internal and external relationships to enhance team productivity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing situations.
