This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Increase InnerOrbit's revenue by acquiring and managing pilot programs in schools and districts.

• Develop and maintain a personal list of target districts.

• Investigate the science-assessment challenges faced by districts prior to outreach.

• Engage in outbound calls and emails.

• Position InnerOrbit in relation to the specific challenges of each district.

• Guide warm leads through demonstrations, pilots, and contract finalization.

• Ensure consistent follow-up at every stage of the sales process.

• Conduct consultative discussions with districts.

• Showcase the InnerOrbit platform.

• Identify the underlying needs of districts.

• Offer professional development and training to ensure the success of pilots.

• Keep a transparent and organized pipeline while tracking deal statuses and rationales.

• Collaborate with marketing, accounts, and content teams to create sales sequences and materials.

• Travel for conferences, regional events, and district-level meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Background as a science educator and/or administrator within K-12 education.

• Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for the NGSS and science education.

• Familiarity with assessment systems at the classroom, school, district, and state levels.

• Awareness of how assessment practices have led to the marginalization of historically underserved communities.

• Capacity to communicate with teachers and leaders empathetically, as one of their peers.

• Commitment to deep listening and persistence as fundamental practices.

• Growth mindset with a genuine desire for feedback and coaching.

• Flexibility in adapting to a rapidly evolving market.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% for conferences, regional events, and district-level meetings.

• Resume is required.

• A recorded video of three minutes or less is required, demonstrating a sale of a science education product that the applicant has used and appreciates.

• Submission of any AI prompts used in the application is necessary.
